1. Who is responsible
This site is operated by KPIM Studio ("we", "us"). For anything relating to the processing described on this page, contact service@kpim.com.cn.
2. What we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to your request:
- Inquiry form: the name or company you provide, your email address, the product or project type you select, your project details, plus the business line and interface language the form records automatically.
- Email: when you write to service@kpim.com.cn, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any drawings or files you choose to attach.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records access logs in the course of delivering and protecting the site. These may include IP addresses and request times.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as identity documents, financial accounts, biometric data or health data. Please do not enter such content in the inquiry form. If a project genuinely requires it, contact us first to agree how it should be sent.
3. Why we process it
We use this information to: reply to your product or project inquiry; assess technical feasibility and prepare quotations; arrange samples, production and delivery; handle after-sales communication; and keep the site secure and available.
Our bases are your consent (you chose to submit the form or email us) and our legitimate need to answer business inquiries and perform a contract. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
4. Cross-border processing
This is a static site hosted on Vercel, with its primary server region in the United States (iad1) and delivery through a global edge network. The inquiry form is processed by Web3Forms, which is based in the United States. Information you submit is therefore transferred to and processed outside mainland China.
By submitting the form you consent to that transfer. If you would rather your information did not leave your region, please email service@kpim.com.cn directly instead, or contact us by another means.
5. Third-party services
We use the following providers. They access the relevant data only as far as needed to deliver their service:
- Vercel: hosting, content delivery and security, and server access logging.
- Web3Forms: receives inquiry form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- Tencent Enterprise Mail: carries email sent to and from service@kpim.com.cn.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your inquiry. To deliver an industrial project we may share the necessary drawings and technical requirements with the manufacturing partner carrying it out. In that case we provide only what the project requires and require the partner to handle it under confidentiality terms.
6. How long we keep it
Inquiries and email correspondence are kept after we have replied and the exchange has ended, normally for no longer than two years. Where a project proceeds, we keep the transaction records needed to perform the contract and meet legal retention requirements. Server access logs are retained short-term by our hosting provider under its own policy. Once a period ends we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Cookies and local storage
This site uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Our page code does not write cookies that identify visitors; what you type in the form stays within your current browser session.
Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies or similar mechanisms for security and traffic delivery. These are not used for advertising or profiling.
If we later enable visitor analytics, we will update this page first and, where applicable law requires it, ask for your consent.
8. Performance monitoring and analytics
This site uses two analytics services provided by Vercel, to understand whether the site is working properly, which pages are visited, and where optimisation is needed.
Vercel Speed Insights: collects performance metrics from real visits, such as page load time, interaction responsiveness and page stability, to decide whether the site needs optimisation.
Vercel Web Analytics: counts page views and referrers in aggregate, so we can see how the content performs.
Both services are provided by Vercel in a privacy-conscious way: they do not write cookies that identify visitors or track you across sites, they do not collect information that directly identifies you, and results are reported in aggregate. They are used only for our own operational decisions and never for advertising.
The scripts for both services are served by Vercel from this site's own origin. We do not share your information with any third-party advertising or data-broker service as a result.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access the information we hold about you, have inaccurate details corrected, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive the information you provided in a commonly used format. Email service@kpim.com.cn and we will act once we have verified your identity.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region with a data protection authority, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority.
10. Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we receive, including limiting who can access inquiry records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive material through the form.
11. Changes to this page
When our services or the way we handle information change, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. For material changes we will give a clear notice on the site.
